As a faculty member at the Eisenhower School, Dr. Browning annually taught senior U.S. government civilians and military officers, foreign senior military and selected private sector senior personnel. He established the highly successful Corporate University for the Library of Congress and revitalized leadership development programs for the U.S. Navy.
Strategic Leadership Innovator
Dr. Browning developed the Strategic Leadership Model and 5 Personal Dimensions and taught them to senior leaders at The Eisenhower School, Library of Congress and US Navy. He directed strategic planning for The Athena Group, a leadership and management consulting firm and is a recognized expert in strategic and operational leadership, shaping organizational climate and culture, and leading organizational change. Corporate clients included Ritz-Carlton, Gulf Western Corporation, Marriott Corporation, Westinghouse and U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Having spent more than thirty years in senior marketing, sales and training positions, Patty Duffey’s experience crosses a wide range of industries. With a special emphasis in foodservice, her expertise also includes event planning, distribution, non-profit, pet supplies, durable equipment, and performing arts. She developed training for General Mills Foodservice and led sales teams for Sara Lee and Pillsbury/Multifoods. Her marketing skills were put to use at UniPro Foodservice Distribution, Speak Foodservice, G2M Partners, Harley Davidson, McQuay Crystal Tips and Bakers Square Restaurants. She’s worked as an independent consultant and is the author of four books— Dreamwalker, Dreams and Schemes, Dreams at Sea, and Frosty’s Blessed Life. She co-authored Knock, Knock (Who's there?) I AM and Spiritual PopUp: Creating Your Own Memorial Service Participant's Workbook and Leader's Guide and has authored numerous articles for trade journals.

Dr. Browning authored the seminal textbook Leading at the Strategic Level in An Uncertain World used by the Eisenhower School, National Defense University.
